Biological/Functional activity & target protein
Antioxidative activity

The peptide FGER showed potent antioxidative activity. The antioxidative activity was 32.1% and 77% by using ferric thiocyanate method and erythrocyte membrane ghost system, respectively. The peptide also inhibited ethanol-induced gastric damage with inhibition ratios of 67.9%.
