Biological/Functional activity & target protein
DPP IV-inhibitory activity

The peptide ILELA showed some Dipeptidyl Peptidase IV (EC 3.4.14.5) inhibitory activity with the IC50 value of 721.1 ± 46.3 μM and the DPP-IV inhibition at 1000 μM was 59.1 ± 2.8 %. The results compared with other peptides was as shown in table1.
