Biological/Functional activity & target protein
DPP IV-inhibitory activity

The peptide showed potent activity against Dipeptidyl-peptidase IV (EC 3.4.14.5) with the IC50 value of 43.8 ± 8.8 μM (p < 0.05), and its DPP-IV inhibitory pattern was shown by Lineweaver–Burk plots to be a competitive inhibition pattern.
