Immunomodulatory activity

Tuftsin (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg) and its tetrapeptide analogues with the same amino acid composition, but different sequences, demonstrate immunosuppressive activity for the humoral, but not (excepting the Thr-Lys-Arg-Pro tetrapeptide) for the cellular, immune response.
