Biological/Functional activity & target protein
PEP-inhibitory activity

Inhibitor of Prolyl endopeptidase (EC:3.4.21.26). The peptide possibly act as anti-amnestic agents. The peptide was assayed in vitro for their capacity to inhibit the Flavobacterium meningosepticum PEP activity, the IC50 value is 250 uM and it's weakly active.
